Noa Reid is entering the professional world. Although many people know his name because of his connection to actress Ella Purnell, his own journey belongs to real estate, finance and asset management. He has studied economics, business and property.

At 23, he has completed an undergraduate degree, progressed through a demanding master’s programme and secured a place with a specialist property lender. Together, these experiences reveal a disciplined graduate who values practical learning, steady progress and responsibility in each role.

    Who Is Noa Reid?

Noa Reid is a London-based real estate graduate born on 17 January 2003. Birthday posts marking his 18th in 2021 and 22nd in 2025 establish the date. In 2026, he is 23 and a Capricorn.

He studied in London before moving to Newcastle for university, then continued at Henley Business School, part of the University of Reading. His academic interests include investment, valuation, development, economics and financial modelling.

Unlike Ella Purnell, he has not pursued entertainment. He has kept a fairly private lifestyle while using LinkedIn to document his education and professional growth. His career is moving towards real estate lending and asset management.

Noa Reid’s Parents and Family Background

Noa Reid parents are Simon Reid and Isabelle Peterson-Reid. Isabelle is a Swedish contemporary artist who lives and works in London.

Simon Reid is also Ella Purnell’s father. Ella was born to Simon and Suzy Purnell before Simon formed a family with Isabelle. This makes Ella the older paternal half-sister of Noa, Enzo and Leon Reid.

Noa Reid is the eldest of Simon and Isabelle’s three sons. His younger brothers are Enzo Reid and Leon Reid. Ella has spoken about growing up with three younger brothers who kept her humble during her teenage years.

    Life Beyond Ella Purnell’s Success

Ella has achieved international fame through Fallout, Yellowjackets, Sweetpea and Arcane. Her success brings attention to her family, yet her brother has chosen a different direction.

He is not an actor, influencer or television personality. His achievements come from education, analytical work and early experience within property businesses. The family connection is part of his background, but it does not define his professional identity.

Noa Reid’s Education and Academic Achievements

    King’s College School Wimbledon

Noa Reid attended King’s College School Wimbledon from 2012 until 2021. His advanced subjects were Economics, Geography and Psychology, in which he achieved A*, A and B grades. These subjects gave him an early understanding of markets, human behaviour and the way places develop.

    Newcastle University

In September 2022, he began a BSc in Economics and Business Management at Newcastle University. He graduated in June 2025 with Upper Second-Class Honours, commonly called a 2:1.

Mathematics, statistics and microeconomic analysis strengthened his numerical ability. He later developed a deeper interest in Economics of Banking and Financial Economics.

A Business Enterprise module required him to lead a team creating a new brand pitch. The project strengthened his leadership and entrepreneurial thinking, earning 72 per cent. Away from formal study, he co-founded an intramural football team named Jesmond Athletic.

    Henley Business School

After graduating from Newcastle, he began an MSc in Real Estate at Henley Business School in September 2025, with completion scheduled for September 2026.

His postgraduate work covers property investment, valuation and development. He has taken a special interest in commercial and residential assets, including redevelopment projects that can create financial value and improve communities.

Noa Reid received the Henley Business School Excellence Scholarship. He also attended a weekly financial modelling club, where he practised discounted cash-flow calculations and Excel techniques. Continuing his interest in sport, he founded a seven-a-side football team for real estate students.

His additional training includes Excel Bootcamp, Real Estate Economics and Real Estate Data Analysis. These studies support his move into a field where sound judgement must be backed by accurate figures.

Noa Reid’s Career and Work Experience

    Early Hospitality Roles

His first known employment was at The Imperial Arms between October 2021 and January 2022. He started as a barback before progressing to bartender after learning drink and cocktail requirements.

In February 2022, he joined Mitchells & Butlers as a full-time bartender to fund travel during his gap year. He continued part-time during university breaks until June 2025.

Busy shifts taught him to stay calm under pressure, manage time and meet customer needs. He completed Team Coach training, mentored new employees and accepted greater responsibility when few managers were present.

    Experience with Leopard Capital

In June 2024, he completed a month of work experience with Leopard Capital. He reviewed investment brochures linked to industrial property and compared two facilities to identify the stronger opportunity.

He attended investment meetings, explored a possible partnership with a letting agency and visited industrial sites, including a brick-making factory. He then prepared notes and reports for future company use.

    AI Data Evaluation at Outlier

From December 2024 until July 2026, he worked remotely as a freelance AI Data Evaluator with Outlier. The role involved judging AI-generated material and improving model responses.

He worked with large language, speech and reasoning models. Many tasks covered finance, economics and mathematics, requiring him to identify weak logic and inaccurate calculations. This work improved his knowledge of AI behaviour, limitations and optimisation.

    Real Harbour Capital Placement

A June 2026 placement with Real Harbour Capital gave him advanced exposure to investment and asset management. Within a six-person team, he assessed opportunities across the United Kingdom, France, Spain and Italy.

The group compared prime yields, vacancy levels, e-commerce use, lending rates and planning conditions. He created a five-year model covering four strategies and calculated entry yields, annual net operating income, cash-on-cash returns, and levered and unlevered internal rates of return.

He tested each strategy against a flat exit yield and assessed vacancy, capital expenditure, automation and economic risks. The final presentation favoured Italy for value-add potential while viewing the UK as a safer choice.

    Joining Avamore Capital

In August 2026, he announced that he had accepted an offer to join the asset-management team at Avamore Capital in September. The company provides development and bridging finance for property professionals.

Its asset managers support loans and development projects after completion. The opportunity connects closely with his master’s training and placements. His exact job title has not been disclosed, but the move marks the formal beginning of his real estate career.

Noa Reid’s Professional Skills and Interests

His strongest technical abilities include financial modelling, property analysis, market comparison and investment appraisal. He can calculate net operating income, yields, cash returns and internal rates of return, then assess how changing assumptions affect expected performance.

His AI work trained him to notice errors in calculations and reasoning. Hospitality developed communication, coaching, time management and calm decision-making.

Football remains a consistent interest. He helped create teams at Newcastle and Henley, combining sport with social leadership. Travel also features in his Instagram posts, with captions connected to Los Angeles, Bermuda, London and Newcastle.

Noa Reid on Instagram and Personal Life

His Instagram account uses the handle @noa.reid. In August 2026, it contained 17 posts and had 2,664 followers. The short biography still mentioned Newcastle University despite his postgraduate studies.

An October 2024 post showed him using crutches. Comments asked what had happened to his leg or foot, but he did not share the cause or seriousness of the injury. Another comment used the phrase “soft launch”, yet this does not confirm a romantic partner.

What Is Next for Noa Reid?

The next stage centres on completing his postgraduate education and beginning work with Avamore Capital. His combination of economics, real estate, financial modelling and practical placements gives him a sound foundation for asset management.

Noa Reid has moved steadily from customer service into analytical and investment-based work. Continued development could lead to a valuable career in property lending, development monitoring or real estate investment.

    Final Thoughts

Noa Reid may attract attention through Ella Purnell, but his own story is taking shape in finance and property. Strong grades, a respected scholarship, practical placements and an incoming asset-management role demonstrate clear progress.

He is still at the start of his working life, yet his direction is firm. Rather than following an entertainment path, he is building expertise in real estate through disciplined analysis, commercial judgement and long-term professional growth.
