Billie Shepherd has grown from an Essex reality television favourite into a successful presenter, podcaster, influencer and businesswoman. Her warm personality, close family bonds and polished sense of style have kept her in the spotlight since 2010. Millions have watched her become a wife, raise three children, build retail brands and face personal health challenges.

    Who Is Billie Shepherd?

Billie Leigh Shepherd, née Faiers was born on 15 January 1990 in Brentwood, Essex, England. She is 36 years old in 2026 and holds British nationality. Her parents are Suzie Wells and Lee Faiers. Sue played the leading role in raising Billie and Sam after their parents separated during their childhood.

David “Chatty” Chatwood later became a father figure within the family. Billie has spoken with affection about her mother’s strength and the protection she gave both daughters during difficult years.

Billie Shepherd and Sister Sam Faiers

Sam Faiers was born on 31 December 1990, making her less than one year younger than Billie. They are often mistaken for twins because they share the same birth year, similar features and a close relationship.

The sisters entered television together and later built careers based on motherhood, style and business. Their bond has faced normal family pressures, yet they continue to work together. Since 2021, they have co-hosted The Sam & Billie Show, sharing honest conversations about parenting, relationships, holidays, work and everyday life.

Billie Shepherd and Her TOWIE Breakthrough

Billie first entered The Only Way Is Essex in 2010. She made a brief early appearance before becoming a regular cast member during the second series. Her confident manner, loyalty to family and glamorous Essex style soon made her a familiar face. She remained with TOWIE until 2016.

The Mummy Diaries and Family Diaries

In 2016, Billie joined Sam’s motherhood programme, which developed into Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries. The series followed both sisters as they raised their children, managed relationships and balanced home life with growing careers. It continued for nine series and became one of ITVBe’s best-known family formats. Sam stepped away from filming in 2021. Billie then continued with her husband in Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries.

The family series ended in 2024. Billie and Greg felt the time had come for their children to enjoy more privacy while growing older. Ending the programme did not mean Billie had left entertainment. It marked a shift towards projects that placed less pressure on the children.

Dancing on Ice and Her Head Injury

Billie Shepherd competed in Dancing on Ice in 2021 with professional skater Mark Hanretty. Her time in the competition ended after a fall during rehearsals caused a head injury and moderate concussion. Medical advice required her to withdraw and rest.

Billie Shepherd Returns to Her TOWIE Roots

Billie Shepherd reunited with Sam for Sam & Billie: Sister Act in 2025. The six-part ITV2 and ITVX series explored motherhood, business, childhood experiences and Billie’s health problems. It became their first joint television project since The Mummy Diaries ended.

In July 2026, Billie announced another major return. She became host of You Alright, Hun?, the official TOWIE companion podcast and vodcast. The weekly programme allows her to interview cast members, discuss new episodes and share the latest Essex gossip.

New editions arrive each Thursday through ITVX, YouTube and podcast services. The role brings her career full circle, connecting her current presenting skills with the programme that first made her famous. It also confirms that she remains active within British entertainment.

Billie Shepherd Husband, Marriage and Family Life

Billie Shepherd began dating businessman Greg Shepherd in 2011. Greg was born in February 1985 and works across business and property ventures. He initially maintained a quieter public presence but later became a central figure in the family’s television programmes.

Greg proposed during a Maldives holiday in 2014. The couple married at Kuramathi in the Maldives in March 2019, surrounded by relatives and friends. Their ceremony reflected their love of travel, family celebrations and elegant settings.

Their relationship has been shown with humour rather than false perfection. Billie’s August 2026 holiday post from Daios Cove in Crete joked about having a few disagreements with Greg while saying she would not change their life together.

    Billie Shepherd’s Three Children

Billie and Greg have three children. Their eldest daughter, Nelly, was born in July 2014 and is 12. Their son, Arthur, was born on 7 March 2017 and is nine. Their youngest daughter, Margot, was born on 2 December 2022 and is three.

Motherhood has shaped much of Billie’s work. She has shared birthdays, school milestones, holidays and family celebrations while becoming more careful about her children’s privacy. Nelly has joined her mother in selected fashion and jewellery projects, including a matching Mini Me collection.

    Home with the Shepherd Family

The family lives in the Brentwood area. Billie and Greg bought a large 1920s house and completed an extensive renovation, including major interior changes and outdoor improvements. Their home journey became an important part of The Family Diaries and inspired a dedicated home account.

    Billie Shepherd as a Businesswoman

Business has remained central to Billie’s career. She and Sam established Minnie’s Boutique in spring 2011. The family-run fashion shop became closely connected with their TOWIE fame. Sam later pursued separate ventures, while Billie continued leading the boutique and its online operation.

Her other retail interests include MYNELLY, a company connected with jewellery and fashion products. In 2026, she formed Pure Home and Lifestyle Limited, covering wholesale and online retail activities. A full consumer launch under that company name has not yet been confirmed.

Billie has also worked with George at Asda on children’s, baby, nursery and women’s clothing. Her Chapter B home and lifestyle range reached Tesco stores, while her Abbott Lyon work includes personalised jewellery and products created with Nelly. Earlier partnerships covered fashion, beauty, travel and homeware.

    Property Companies and Directorships

Official company records connect Billie with 13 appointments under three matching officer identities. Seven directorships remain active in 2026. They cover Minnies Online, MYNELLY, Pure Home and Lifestyle, Picture Holdings, AM Housing Croydon, Picture Residential and Butler and Shep.

The property businesses involve development, purchasing, selling, letting and management. William Louis Butler works with her across this group. Greg also has his own company roles and property interests.

Four older companies have dissolved: Billie Faiers Enterprises, Billie Faiers Media, TOWIE Ltd and Gracieve Limited. She also resigned from B & G Events and Picture Property Sourcing. These closures and resignations do not show that she has stopped working; her seven current appointments demonstrate continued commercial activity.

Billie Shepherd Health Challenges and Lyme Disease

Billie Shepherd faced a serious health struggle during 2025. She described extreme fatigue, joint pain, skin symptoms and mornings when she needed Greg’s help to leave bed. Early tests created uncertainty, but she later shared a Lyme disease diagnosis.

The illness became part of Sister Act and brought a more vulnerable side of her life to television. A private wellness assessment gave her a “biological age” of 59 while she was unwell. This figure was not her real age or a standard medical diagnosis.

Her present treatment remains personal. Her account of the experience has focused on pain, family support and the relief of finally having an explanation for her symptoms.

Billie Shepherd Instagram, Influence and Advertising

Billie Shepherd’s verified Instagram account, billieshepherdofficial, has about 2.5 million followers. She shares fashion, beauty, travel, motherhood, television work and brand collaborations. She also promotes Minnie’s Boutique and the family’s home account.

In 2022, the Advertising Standards Authority placed her under enhanced monitoring after advertising posts were not marked clearly enough. The action concerned transparency in commercial content, not criminal conduct. There is no current evidence that the temporary monitoring continues.

    Wealth and Life in 2026

No audited figure confirms Billie’s personal wealth. Celebrity media estimates often place it between £2 million and £4 million, but company accounts cannot reveal her full personal assets, debts, property equity or shared finances with Greg.

In 2026, Billie Shepherd remains a recognised television figure, devoted mother and active director. Her TOWIE hosting role, podcast with Sam, retail work and property companies show a career that continues to evolve. She has moved beyond reality television without abandoning the personality, family values and Essex identity that first won public attention.
