Greg Shepherd: Family, Fortune and the Drive Behind His Success

Greg Shepherd has built a distinctive place in British television without following the usual celebrity route. First known as the partner of former TOWIE star Billie Faiers, his humour, business experience and devotion to family soon gave him an identity of his own. He now balances property, travel, television and commercial work while raising three children with Billie.

    Who Is Greg Shepherd?

Gregory Gary Shepherd is a British businessman, property developer, television personality and social media figure. Born on 27 February 1985, he is 41 in 2026. Company filings confirm February 1985, while family birthday posts support the full date. He lives in England and has strong ties to Essex and London.

Before television became important to his career, he worked in the ticket and events trade. He initially avoided cameras despite Billie’s growing TOWIE fame. His relaxed character eventually made him a popular family-show presence: a lively father, supportive husband and practical businessman.

Greg Shepherd’s Age and Early Background

Greg Shepherd turned 40 in February 2025 and reached 41 on 27 February 2026. His school years, qualifications and precise birthplace remain private. Two father figures, three sisters and a strong work ethic shaped his upbringing and later commercial career.

    Greg Shepherd’s Wife and Marriage

Greg Shepherd is married to Billie Leigh Shepherd, née Faiers. Born on 15 January 1990 in Brentwood, Billie became famous through TOWIE before moving into fashion, podcasting and brand partnerships. They began dating in 2011.

Greg proposed during a Maldives holiday in February 2014. The destination later became central to their wedding story, although they completed a smaller London ceremony first.

    Two Wedding Celebrations

Billie has confirmed that they married in London on 26 January 2019, joined by their mothers, sisters and three best men. A grand celebration followed at Kuramathi Island Resort in the Maldives on 5 March 2019, attended by approximately 95 guests after a five-year engagement.

The London ceremony came first; the Maldives event delivered the celebration shown in magazines and television coverage. Both centred on the same marriage.

Has Greg Shepherd Been Married Before?

Billie is his only publicly documented wife. No dependable evidence establishes an earlier marriage or former spouse. Confusion stems from the two ceremonies, which were stages of one wedding journey. The couple remain together and share family life through verified social accounts.

Greg Shepherd’s Children and Home Life

The couple have three children. Their eldest daughter, Nelly Samantha Shepherd, was born on 10 July 2014. Their son, Arthur, arrived on 7 March 2017. Their youngest daughter, Margot, was born on 2 December 2022. In August 2026, Nelly is 12, Arthur is nine and Margot is three.

Family life is central to his television identity. He combines humour with active parenting, organising holidays, celebrations and daily activities. Nelly and Arthur also inspired the children’s book Nelly & Arthur’s Big Day Out.

The Shepherds spent years creating a large Essex home and shared the renovation online. Entertainment coverage valued it at £1.4 million, but a property value does not equal available cash or personal wealth.

    Greg Shepherd’s Parents and Sisters

    His Mother Linda

Greg’s mother is Linda. He marked her 66th birthday in January 2024 with an affectionate message celebrating her role as a grandmother. Linda married in April 2019, shortly after the Maldives wedding, and the couple returned from Dubai for the occasion.

Biological Father Gary and Stepfather Dave

Greg’s biological father was Gary, who died in late 2025. Greg remembered him as a sociable, determined worker who taught him valuable business habits. He deeply missed their frequent daily telephone calls. Gary’s age and cause of death remain private.

Dave was his stepfather and raised him from four. Greg regarded him as a true dad who taught the value of being present for children. Dave died suddenly in September 2025, aged 77. Losing Dave and Gary within weeks made that year exceptionally painful.

Dave was not Dave Chatwood, the stepfather of Billie and Sam Faiers. They were separate people. Greg’s three sisters, Ruby, Hayley and Francesca, have joined family celebrations and television moments.

What Does Greg Shepherd Do for a Living?

    Ticket Industry and Events Work

His original career developed in the ticket industry, where he worked as a ticket scout, broker and London businessman. Here, “broker” concerns tickets and events, not banking, shares or regulated financial advice. Some celebrity pages have confused the sectors.

His interests extend into events, travel and media. B & G Events Limited, where he is an active director, handles media representation. EHG – Travel Limited conducts travel agency activities, matching his passion for destination experiences.

    Greg Shepherd and Property Development

Property has become a major focus. In 2025, he shared the purchase of four neighbouring Croydon houses: two with three bedrooms and two with four. His plan involved renovation, sales and retaining an asset for longer-term value.

Company roles reinforce this direction. But and G Shep Property Limited develops building projects, while WLBHomes Limited handles owned or leased property. Picture Property Sourcing Limited is a real-estate agency with an active strike-off proposal in August 2026.

He is also connected to Pleasurable Moments Limited, formerly Greg Shepherd Entertainments Limited. It entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation in April 2024. One company’s liquidation does not prove personal insolvency.

Are the Company Records the Same Person?

The different Companies House appointment pages concern the same businessman with very high confidence. They share his full name, February 1985 birth date, nationality and matching business links. Formal identity checks support the connection. B & G Events also names Billie as a former director. Different name formats can create separate officer pages.

Greg Shepherd Television, Social Media and Publishing

Greg Shepherd became familiar through Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries and Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries, which covered marriage, children, renovation, holidays and business pressures. He also participated in Sam & Billie: Sister Act.

His verified Instagram account, @gregory_shep, has more than 550,000 followers. It covers family, travel, property and paid partnerships. He has promoted major children’s brands, while @homewiththesheps documents the couple’s home. Social media provides income alongside television and business.

His growing visibility has also supported collaborations in sport, fashion, family products and travel. These projects fit his interests and allow him to earn beyond scheduled television work, while maintaining the friendly, informal style that helped him connect with a broad audience.

    Greg Shepherd Net Worth

No audited figure reveals his personal net worth. Company accounts cannot show an individual’s complete finances because they exclude private investments, mortgages, personal debts, taxes and outside assets. Property prices cannot become personal equity figures without knowing the borrowing involved.

Some entertainment websites use average London broker wages, which do not establish his salary. One analytics service calculates possible yearly digital earnings of US$180,640 to US$247,400, but this modelled range cannot prove income or wealth.

UK entertainment media estimate Billie’s fortune at approximately £4 million, without an audited personal statement. No sound combined figure exists, so adding Billie’s media estimate to an invented number for her husband would mislead.

Large online totals between US$86 million and US$205 million belong to an unrelated American businessman, Gregory M. Shepard, connected with Atlas Energy Solutions and Donegal Group. They have no connection to Billie’s husband. Greg’s exact fortune remains private.

Court Coverage and the Need for Accuracy

Civil proceedings concerning Wimbledon tickets in 2019 included an allegation that Luke McKay sold tickets on Greg’s behalf. Greg was not the defendant and received no conviction or sentence. McKay’s suspended sentence concerned his refusal to obey a court order. Earlier football-ticket coverage did not establish a conviction against Greg.

Allegations, civil proceedings and criminal convictions are not interchangeable. His career remains rooted in tickets, but claims about illegal conduct must never be presented as proven guilt.

The Man Behind the Television Image

Greg Shepherd’s appeal comes from the balance between ambition and family loyalty. He has moved from a quieter role beside a famous partner into property, television, publishing and digital partnerships. At the same time, he has remained closely connected to Billie, their children, his mother and sisters.

The deaths of both father figures in 2025 revealed a more personal side of his story. His tributes focused on hard work, presence, humour and devotion to family. Those values also define his screen image. He is energetic and commercially minded, yet his role as a husband and father remains at the centre of his life.

    Final Thoughts

Greg Shepherd is more than the husband of a former TOWIE star. He is a British businessman, property developer, television personality, influencer, author and father of three. His marriage to Billie has lasted through fame, expanding businesses and the demands of raising children in view of a national audience.

His precise wealth remains private, and unsupported figures should be avoided. What can be confirmed is a varied career spanning tickets, events, travel, property, media and family entertainment. Through enterprise, humour and steady family commitment, he has built a public identity that now stands firmly beside Billie’s successful career.
